Fresh Start is a residential program and facility for adult men and woman who for a variety of reasons need assistance to help them get there lives "back on track." Fresh Start provides a hand up rather then a handout with structure, opportunity, accountability and gainful employment.

Fresh Start is not licensed to accept clients referred by the courts, parole or probation.

It is our hope that those who enter our program will improve relationships with family, friends and become productive members of the community at large.

In order to accomplish this, each client will begin by moving into our residential facility. Located in downtown Wichita, Kansas each participant will live in a studio apartment with two other participants. Each studio has a kitchen and bathroom. Free laundry facilities are located on site.

Each person who enters the fresh start program is required to remain alcohol and drug free. Random breath and urine testing is conducted to insure compliance. Fresh Start staff has over 65 years of experience working with individuals in recovery.

Clients who are participating with outpatient treatment programs in Wichita will be offered transportation to and from scheduled treatment meetings. Program participants with a history of alcohol or drug abuse are required to attend community based support groups.

Those who are program participants are required to be on Fresh Start property by 10:00pm and 12:00 midnight on weekends.
